NOTE: These modifiers are classified as "experimental". mFactory does not guarantee that future releases of mTropolis will maintain compatibility with experimental modifiers. mFactory also reserves the right not to support projects that use experimental modifiers.
The Group 3 modifier kit contains the following experimental mTropolis modifiers:
Sound Panning Modifier
List Variable
Navigation Modifier
Object Reference Variable+
Track Control Modifier
Sound Fade Modifier+
These modifiers are fully documented in Chapter 12, "Modifier Reference", of the mTropolis Reference Manual. Please refer to the "About Experimental Modifiers" file, found in the "Experimental Modifiers" folder, for installation instructions and more information about experimental modifiers.
The Object Reference Variable+ and Sound Fade Modifier+ are enhanced versions of two standard mTropolis modifiers. The enhanced Object Reference Variable is persistent (its value is "remembered", so it does not need to be initialized every time a project is run), and provides a field for entering and viewing the object reference that it stores. The enhanced Sound Fade Modifier provides an option to fade relative to the current volume. Only these enhanced versions are documented in the mTropolis Reference Manual.
Examples of the Group 3 modifiers in action are provided in the "Experimental Modifier Examples" project. To install this project, either:
• Run "Install mTropolis Sampler", select "Custom", and select the "Experimental Modifier Examples" option to install.
or
• Copy the "Experimental Modifier Examples" project and "Experimental Modifier Media" folder from the mExamples folder on the mTropolis Sampler CD to your disk.
